ABOUT US
Whenever you speak up,someone answers.
OUR MISSION
Bring language backto real conversation
We believe a language is best used sitting at a real table with real people, actually talking.
Since 2017, WalktheTalk has invited great language meetup hosts to join us, gathering events scattered across the city in one place so anyone who wants to speak can easily find the right one — and practise, make friends and improve within a real community.
Today our WeChat and Xiaohongshu mini programs connect 120,000 language learners with more than 260 hosts. Shanghai is our most active city for now, but the platform isn't limited to any city — hosts anywhere, even outside China, can join.
Three things we care about
Real connection
We encourage face-to-face conversation over text behind a screen.
Openness
Learners and hosts of every level and background are welcome.
Always improving
Together with hosts and members, we make every meetup better than the last.
